Late Projects

Hello Bloggers. I know these are late, but...better late...and I shall leave the remainder unsaid.

These are from my Crafters Workshop Template Shorts Vee-dios. That is real sand on the area around the palm tree.

The background was brayered using Adirondack dye-based ink. This tree was done using watermark ink, which was clear embossed and then colored in with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Ink Markers. I think the sand bucket and the flip-flops really lends a nostalgic feel to this card. The sand is a mixture of butterscotch and ginger ink with a brown alcohol marker.

Have been meaning to share them, but my camera did not want to cooperate.

This one was done with regular chalks.

Here I was going for an embossed resist technique on top of an inked background that was embossed with gold powder.

Once I shoot too many photos without off loading them, the software will not read the camera or the photos. Go figure.

The one on the left are the micro beads...love those. The one on the right is the shimmer chalks on top of a Tattered Angels spritzed background.

Until Then.

  3. Watched your Easter Flower 2013 using Cricut. You make it looks so easy and beautiful. My big question, being new to all of this paper crafting, are you using paper or card stock to make the flowers? Card stock seems too heavy but I know there are different weights. Any help you can give wil be greatly appreciated. Debbie

  6. Veronica, I was wondering if you came up with a template for the Willow Christmas card you were working on last year. Using the Home Depot advertisement card as a guide. If so can you please send me a copy of the instructions so that I will be able to use it for my Mother's Day Cards. Thanks in advance for your help.

    1. hello and I have tried replying to you several times but Blogger or Google would not allow it. I have determined that I am going to need to use the larger sheet of paper. piecing it together is not going to be sturdy enough. Two more days until school ends and I should be able to focus.
thanks for keeping me on track.
