Hello everyone. I think I am on a roll here. I have been cranking out the cards lately. Made up a slew of them for Operation Write Home. I will share about that in a later post. This one will be a quickie.
Aren't they luscious? More of the American Crafts Cardstock and white embossed papers. I hit the one in the center with some Mustard Seed Distress Ink. Used some dew drops (solid colors) in the centers of the flowers. The musical ribbon is from Prima. Love these!!!!
Ok, here is another view.
I will add greetings as needed. These cards are still cute and machinable--- without having to be charged extra postage. The paper hiding out in the background is the Springtime Collection from Echo Park that I picked up from CropChololate.com.
Have fun making your own quick cards to have on hand for just about any occasion.
Until then.
Another batch of great cards!!!! Love the yellow, black and white combo. Can't wait to see what you have cooked up for OWH....I need some inspiration there.
ReplyDeleteVery simple yet beautiful cards! I'm your new follower! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in and leaving a comment. I am hoping to post my cards for Operation Write Home by the end of next week.
ReplyDeleteVeronica, Ever so brand new to your site. Was looking for info about this "homemade look-alike" flower soft stuff and watched three of your YOU TUBE videos. You are a truely gifted artist. The card simply came alive. I have quite a few of the same materials that you use, including pastels. I had no idea it was possible to mix water with them. This is exciting for me. I have never seen a "water pen". I just started working for JoAnns and I surely don't think we carry them. Small art section. Not a large JoAnns. Big enough for me to damage a paycheck now. Trust I will be closely following your blogs now. Your work is exceptional and I learn alot plus gives me great ideas. Interesting to me though, your picture looks very familiar to me. In closing let me please say I am very sorry for your loss. My Mom went back to our Father in 1991. It still feels like yesterday. We never, ever stop needing our Mamas. We get to speak to them through prayers, I believe though. Thanks for the videos and beautiful artwork Veronica. Lynda
ReplyDeleteLynda, hi and welcome. I was going through some old posts hoping I had not missed questions from anyone and came across your lovely comments.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking the time to check out my Vee-dios and my blog. Glad you are getting lots of good ideas. Yes, I think Jo's will take quite a bite out of your paycheck. lol. But it will be all good, right?
Thanks for your condolences as well. You are right it still feels like yesterday. She is with me in spirit. I know she is with our Heavenly Father and that brings me comfort.
Hugs
Another batch of great card !!!!
